Liverpool FC has announced the full schedule for its 2023-2024 UEFA Europa League campaign. The Reds will begin their European adventure on September 8th, 2023, when they travel to Belgium to face Union SG in the group stage. Liverpool will then host Union SG at Anfield on October 20th, 2023.
The Reds have been drawn into Group B, which also includes FC Midtjylland of Denmark and Trabzonspor of Turkey. Liverpool will play each team twice, home and away, with the top two teams in the group advancing to the knockout rounds. The draw for the knockout rounds will be held on November 7th, 2023.
Liverpool will be looking to make a deep run in the Europa League this season after reaching the final in 2016. The Reds have won the competition three times, most recently in 2010. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to add to his trophy haul with a Europa League title in 2024.
